#Aria maestosa channel message software
It's significantly easier to get started with Rytmik than any other music software on the market, but it's also quite limited and tedious for doing so. This question shows up so often and it's honestly difficult to answer because of subjectivity. Also the piano roll is limited to 4 simultaneous notes/channels per clip (as Mechanite already said). Just remember that Rytmik Studio is capable of importing user samples, but not capable of loading VSTs, SoundFonts or importing/exporting MIDI (it does have some MIDI device input features, however). However, the interface is genuinely fun to work with and many people prefer the tedium of the interface over traditional DAW interfaces. Rytmik Studio is capable of more than traditional trackers, but it's also tedious and relatively complex. Still though, if your goal is for orchestral music or cinematic music then you might like to give or any other traditional DAW a try too. It's a tracker/groovebox - which means the interface isn't traditionally designed for music beyond electronic/hip-hop/chiptune genres, but it is capable of more and advertised as such. This software is best for chiptune/synth sounds, though it can certainly do other sounds if you work hard enough. I will say that if you don't have your own samples, I would be wary about using this software if you are trying to go for a more organic orchestral sound. You can also apply most of the fx on a per-note basis, but that's a bit more advanced (but useful for something like slurs). Each clip lets you apply the instrument sample (obviously) but also all kinds of cool fx that you can fine tune.

I've seldom hit the limit, but it can happen. For a total of 16 channels (256 notes at once) to be played at the same time. Each clip contains 4 channels of 16 notes each (you can expand/reduce how many notes are in each clip) by default. The way music is made in this program is by small clips you arrange on a playtrack. Just remember you have a maximum of 2hrs of the program being open before you can't refund it anymore. If I were you, I'd give it a shot, and if you find out that you hate it, refund it. When I first started using Rytmik, I didn't know anything about reading sheet music but I was still able to make stuff, make of that what you will. Is this a software that is conducive for a beginner such as myself, or should I pick up something simpler first? IMO Rytmik Studio is the perfect balance between simple and advanced. Is the technique of "writing" the music here very difficult?

The stuff I have seen on the store page looks drastically different from, say, writing sheet music, specifying it's for a French Horn, then listening to someone play it (which is honestly what I was hoping to find). However, while I am familiar with music in terms of reading, playing, and writing sheet music, I am not familiar with software to make it.
